Crantock Bale Push
On Friday the 14th September a 4 man team including Carly’s brother Adam and her boyfriend Nelly will be pushing a 400lb hay bale 12 hours straight covering a marathon distance and finishing by competing in the annual Crantock Bale Push event. We are raising money for the Carly Taylor Trust, Carly who broke her neck in November is back home in Crantock Newquay after spending 6 months in Salisbury at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Unit. Carly is on the long road to recovery and is determined to walk again, however to help Carly achieve this we are trying to raise as much money as we can to pay for the specialist equipment and treatments that she needs.
During the day the team will cover the distance on the Crantock recreational playing ground next to the village hall where food, drinks and cakes will be available all day and finish by pushing the bale down into the village to the start of the bale push where the 13th Annual Cornish Bale Push Championships will take place.
