Nellies Marathon – Daily Blog – Day 6
Today was another fantastic day, the running was through the most beautiful countryside and the weather literally could not have been better in fact the weather all week has been perfect which means someone is obviously looking down on us!
I also had amazing support from my mum and Carly’s family Keith, Nigel, Kevin and Sara all met me along the route.
I was also lucky enough to meet baby Amy for the first time who might literally be the cutest baby I have ever seen!
Alex and Ali both ran the whole day with me again today which was really great of them. Mayso, Pat and Crazy Dave met me along the way to cheer me on with some great signs and I was privileged enough to get a fly by, by an RNAS Yeovilton helicopter!
Tomorrow I will embark on my last marathon and with it, it bring the opportunity of seeing Carly for the first time over a week which will be worth all of the lows suffered during the week and in fact it was that thought that got me trough all those lows in the first place! Carly is an incredably strong person who will not take no for an answer and I know that in time she will be proving that to us all!
Once again I can’t thank everyone enough for all their support it literally has meant the world to me and I know it means a lot to Carly and her family as well!
157.2 miles done 26.2 to go!
